In March, Executive Director Sam Bloch was invited to speak at the Keio EDGE Program’s 2016 Global Innovation Forum Symposium held in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Japan. This year, the symposium’s theme was “What Innovation?”

The event included several high profile speakers from around the world who are working to solve global problems by leveraging design thinking, technology and creativity. Sam spoke to the crowd about Communitere’s innovative model of disaster relief which provides the tools needed to connect and mobilize communities.
